Description

• Join an expanding client • Report to the Chief Financial Officer • Work in a team of accounting, finance, and actuarial professionals • Prepare and maintain financial statements, projections, management reporting, and financial controls • Support CFO in financial reporting to the board • Monitor and enforce internal controls • Collaborate with peers on financial projections and budgets • Participate in annual GAAP and SAP audits • Provide backup coverage for senior finance members • Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• U.S. Certified Public Accountant qualification • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (Master’s degree in Accounting preferred) • 5 years’ previous insurance and reinsurance financial and accounting and reporting experience • Sound working knowledge of US life insurance statutory accounting principles • In-depth knowledge of annuity products • Strong experience preparing consolidated GAAP and SAP financial statements • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision • High level analytical and problem-solving abilities
